Philosophy

The services provided by Nutrition to Perform, LLC stem from Dana’s passions of guiding athletes, especially those in aesthetic sports. As a former competitive figure skater from the Chicagoland area, Dana has gained a committed and diligent work ethic known to many. Through her individualized approach and valuable experiences as a sports-focused dietitian, Dana specializes in educating athletes about the importance of nutrition for maximizing their success in their sport, while establishing healthy behaviors to benefit them long after their athletic careers. With her nutrition recommendations, Dana aims to guide athletes towards achieving success in athletics while optimizing health.

Dana Sivak, MS, RDN, CSSD, LDN has completed over 7 years of education to receive her Master of Science (MS) degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from Northern Illinois University. Prior to this accomplishment, Dana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics with a minor in Coaching Science from the University of Delaware. As a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, LDN), she has additional certifications including being a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), Eating Disorders and Obesity (EDOC) and International Society for Anthropometrics and Kinanthropometry (ISAK 1).

In addition to Nutrition to Perform, LLC, Dana works as a contracted dietitian for U.S. Figure Skating. She additionally performs telehealth nutrition counseling for Health First Wellness Center (Schaumburg, IL) and serves as Head of Nutrition for the non-for profit company, RiseOverRun, LLC.
